OUR TRAINING OBJECTIVES

The broad objective of Our Training program is to build or empower graduates, non-graduates, Engineers, Technicians, Supervisors, Managers Etc. on pure Practical Telecoms/Security/Power Systems Programs with Live Equipment. Accordingly, the specific objectives include:

1. To train people on IT-based, Surveillance and power systems programs

2. To facilitate the development of a model youth development program for the Government

3. To prepare young graduates and non-graduates to be self-reliance and dependable.

Our Telecoms/Surveillance/Power System programs would:

a. Provide the youth with life and employability skills.

b. Provide youth with crucial work based experiences within a youth – development approach

c. Develop the entrepreneurship ability of the youth

d. Develop their ICT skills for job creation and employment generation

e. Provide youth with career instruction and greater awareness of support networks and various employment opportunities.

OUR TRAINING CONTENTS:

Our Training programs are practical based. We use live equipment to train students. The training content consisted of four Departments, carefully selected to meet the objectives of the Program. The first Department, centering on advanced ICT skills for professionals already in the field covered training in Microwave radio transmission engineering training, Fiber Optics Transmission Training and IP Camera/CCTV Installation. The specific aim of these was for the participants to be proficient in these aspects of IT skill and seek for niche in the emerging business areas that utilize these skills. The second Department was ICT-based Small Scale Businesses. Through it, the participants will be taken through Intercom/PABX Installation training, Fire Alarm/Smoke Detector installation, Car Tracking Systems and IP Cam/CCTV Installation Training. The Department included the types of business opportunities, the services or goods to be offered, the requirements for setting up the business, regulatory imperatives and the resources needed. The Department also provided sources of support and further information in the different sub-business opportunity areas. This Department consists of Intercom/PABX Installation Training, Fire Alarm/Smoke Detector Installation, Car Tracking Systems and IP Cam/CCTV Installation Training. Participants can be able to stand alone or be his/her own boss by Installing Intercoms, Fire Alarms/Smoke Detectors,Electric Fencing,Solar Panels/Inverters,Electrical Installation Wiring with AutoCad Design, Car tracking systems and CCTV Cameras for companies, banks, Hospitals, offices etc. The third Department focused on Entrepreneurship skills where participants were taken through Solar Panels Power generation systems. Participants can be able to Install Solar power generating systems for homes, Hospitals, Factories, offices etc. Finally a forth Department consist of cisco networking, Microwave radio transmission and 2G/3G/4G LTE Training. This Department is for Telecommunication Engineering graduates seeking to elevate their IT skills.

TRAINING METHODOLOGY:

The training combined both hands-on training and experiential training facilitation methodologies. Each participate will be given appropriately designed manual for each of the modules. It is not compulsory for all participants to have IT skills before they will be trained because we will start from the basics, which will make them understand what they are doing, and allowing the focus of the training to remain on how to utilize the skills to create business opportunities for the youth.

DURATION OF PROGRAM: 3 Weeks Excluding Weekends (9AM-3PM Daily

CONCLUSION:

In the context of our socio-economic condition where a large number of young educated people including a huge number of uneducated Male/females are jobless. They cannot contribute to the socio-economic development of themselves and their neighbors.

Most of Our educational system is based on theoretical courses, not on practical implementation. So, even an electronics engineer knows nothing about the repairing sector of the electronics devices. They do not bother it, because they think that it is not their duty, it only for the uneducated (or lower educated) persons. Our system makes them idle and undone.

If an engineer, even a diploma engineer, becomes familiar with the practical sector of their related field, they may be small entrepreneurs or be small businessmen.

We may look towards another sector of our education system. The persons, who studied with commerce subjects, they also know nothing about the implementation of their learning. Actually our educational system provokes the students to earn certificates by the formal examinations of our systems. So, the students remain in dark as how to apply their knowledge in the specific field of the service or business sector.
